Elizabeth (also known by ‘Lily’) is a theatre artist and celebrant based in the North East. Elizabeth has been working in theatre for 20 years. Two favorite roles include Hedda in Hedda Gabler and Titania in A Midsummer Night’s Dream. After graduating from Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts she spent three years acting, working, and training at Shakespeare & Company in Lenox, Massachusetts. She has taught and directed students at theatre camps and schools across New England and currently serves as a board member of Advice To The Players (a New Hampshire-based Shakespeare company). In 2016 Lily made her Off-Broadway theatre debut in Lord Byron’s Werner at the Davenport Theatre Loft. Recently she was seen at Theatre 80 at St. Marks for a period piece titled The Spyglass Seven which explored the romantic life of Edgar Allan Poe.
Inspired by the Death Positive and Green Burial movement coupled with a desire to help others, using her theatre skill set Elizabeth recently embarked on the journey to become a funeral celebrant and finished her training with the Celebrant Institute & Foundation in December of 2017.
